Introduction 2078-06-12

After the promulgation of Nepal's Constitution and the establishment of Gandaki Province, various ministries and subject-specific offices were established within the province by utilizing the rights given under Article 57 and Schedule 6 of the Constitution of Nepal. Based on the decision dated 2075/06/06 of the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Gandaki Province, under the organization and management of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Gandaki Province, this Urban Development and Building Office in Kaski was formally operational from 2075/06/13. This office, which has a working area covering 11 districts within the province, mainly undertakes tasks related to the construction, operation, and maintenance of urban roads, urban infrastructure, the implementation and guidance of housing and building-related plans, and the formulation and implementation of policies related to safe housing. The Urban Development and Building Office is located in Nadipur, Pokhara, Kaski district.
